Get started
Orbe is an antidetect browser for running many accounts on one machine. Every profile is a separate machine — its own fingerprint, its own cookies, its own proxy. This guide takes you from zero to your first open profile in six steps.
Create your account
- Sign up at app.orbebrowser.com with your email (and confirm the link we send you) or with Google.
- In the dashboard, API Key is where you connect the app in step 3. Your key starts with
orbe_.
The launcher uses this key to sync fingerprints and send diagnostic reports. It is not your password — no one at Orbe will ever ask for your account password, and the browser never asks for it.
Install Orbe (Windows)
Orbe installs for your user only — no administrator rights, and it never touches Program Files. The installer includes Orbe's own browser (built on Chromium), so there is nothing else to download; it installs alongside, not over, any Chrome you already have.
- Download
orbe-setup.exefrom your download page (Windows 10/11, 64-bit). - Verify the SHA-256 of the file against the value shown next to the download.
- Run it. Orbe installs its program files under
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Orbeand adds a Start Menu shortcut. Your profiles and settings live under%LOCALAPPDATA%\Orbe, separate from the program files in%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Orbe, so updates never touch them.
System requirements: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Each open profile is a full browser, so your RAM sets how many you can run at once — 8 GB is fine for a handful; add RAM for more profiles at the same time. The installer is about 170 MB, browser included, and Orbe uses about 700 MB after a fresh install and about 1.4 GB once it has updated (it keeps the previous version so it can roll back). While an update installs it briefly needs about 1.6 GB. Your profiles need space on top of that.
If something goes wrong
- Orbe doesn't open. Orbe shows a dialog instead of failing silently. Reinstall Orbe. Orbe keeps a local diagnostic log on your computer; it is not sent anywhere.
- "Orbe could not create its program link". The installer couldn't create a needed link — this happens on some restricted or non-NTFS setups.
Connect the app
Launch Orbe Browser from the shortcut. The first time, a Welcome to Orbe box asks for a one-time code: in the dashboard open API Key → Connect the Orbe app → Get a one-time code, paste it into the box and continue. Orbe saves your key automatically and signs the browser in to your account. The code is shown once and works on one computer; if you already had a key, using a code replaces it.
Already copied your key? Choose I have a key in the Welcome box, then paste the orbe_ key in Settings → Account and press Save.
orbe_ key is the only Orbe credential. If you rent proxies from a provider that uses a separate token, that goes in its own field — never in the account field. The two are kept apart on purpose.Add a proxy
A proxy is what gives each account its own IP — strongly recommended for account work. Each profile routes through its own local gateway on 127.0.0.1; the browser only ever sees a plain local proxy, and your credentials stay inside Orbe's process, never exposed to the page or an extension.
Paste host:port:user:pass (or host:port for an open proxy) in the profile's Proxy field. A third-party proxy can be used on up to 20 profiles per account; IP2.VN ports have no limit — see Third-party proxies.
WebRTC is forced through the proxy, so a page cannot read your real IP behind it. Separate accounts should not share an IP.
Create and open your first profile
- Click New profile.
- Each profile is a Windows machine. Orbe requests a fingerprint that matches a real machine of that kind; you do not pick individual values — Orbe assigns a whole, coherent machine.
- Attach the proxy from step 4.
- Open the profile. On first open, Orbe finalizes the machine-specific parts (such as the font set) against your computer, so the profile is internally consistent.
Your first automated action (optional)
You can drive a profile from your own code or an AI assistant, through an internal control channel that leaves no automation trace. The shortest path in Python (Python 3.9+; install the orbe package once from your Orbe folder — see Quickstart):
import orbe
with orbe.Trinh("my-profile") as t:
t.goto("https://example.com")
t.wait_for("Sign in")
t.click("Sign in")

Updates
Orbe keeps itself current the way Chrome does — quietly, in the background, with no administrator prompt:
- It checks for a new version on startup and periodically while running; a new version downloads in the background while you keep using your profiles.
- Every update is verified (SHA-256) before anything is replaced; if verification fails, Orbe keeps your current version and retries later.
- The update applies only when all profiles are closed, so a running session is never swapped out from under you.
- Orbe keeps the previous version so it can roll back once if a new version fails to start.
- An update carries both the Orbe app and its built-in browser, so following a new Chrome release needs nothing from you.
- Orbe 1.0.17 is free, with no profile limit. We keep updating it, free for everyone. Older versions update to 1.0.17 automatically.
To get the newest version immediately, close all profiles and restart Orbe.
Uninstall
- Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps (or "Add or remove programs").
- Find Orbe Browser and choose Uninstall.
You are asked separately whether to delete your profiles and data: choose No to keep them (default, useful if you reinstall), or Yes to erase your Orbe profiles and data permanently. Because Orbe is a per-user install, none of this needs administrator rights.
